I know that running a road race is potentially hazardous activity. I should not enter and run unless I am medically stable and properly trained. I agree to abide by any decisions of a race official relative to safely complete the run.

I assume all the risks associated with running in this event but not limited to fall, contact with other participants, the effects of weather, including high heat and/or humidity, traffic, and other road condition, all such risks being known and appreciated by me.

Having read this waiver and knowing those facts and in consideration of your accepting of my entry, I for myself and anyone else entitled to act on my behalf, waive and release Springfield Midtown Rotary, the University of Illinois Springfield and its Alumni Association, City of Springfield and Sangamon County, Department of Transportation, and all sponsors, their representatives and successors from all claims in liabilities of any kind arising out of participation in the event.

I grant permission to all of the foregoing to use photographs, motion picture recording or any other record of this event for legitimate purposes.

You can upgrade or downgrade your race distance, but we do not allow transfers to another person.

If you change to a shorter (and cheaper) event, there is no charge. If you change to a longer (and more expensive) event, you pay the price difference plus a small processing fee.

Race changes must be made by October 1, 2019. Email [email protected] to request a change.

NO REFUNDS - Registration fees are non-refundable, non-transferable and no deferments will be allowed. By signing below, you are agreeing to this policy.
